The traditional A-style body features a spruce top and maple back and sides with a rich tobacco sunburst satin finish. The maple neck carries an African blackwood fingerboard, and the adjustable ebony bridge and two-way truss rod make for easy setup and maintenance. All this, plus a foam-shell case AND our patented Zero Glide nut!

Its a really good 'cheater' mandolin, you can gig with it and it fills the role well. Where it is most useful though in my opinion is for the recording musician or studio owner. It basically gives you an acoustic guitar from the 12th fret up so its very useful for layering acoustic guitars to make a full sound. I rented a used one for a one off project then decided to buy it.
