Description
The magic that makes the Magna'Tron so special is its staggered cylinder magnets. This special tone is like a single coil spank meets DeArmond style twang with no hum. The tone is aggressive with a quick attach and has exceptional pop and clarity. The two coils result in a hint of compression on the high end.
Specifications:
• Bridge: Features two extra-tall coils with wider pole-to-pole spacing to provide a good balance of output and clarity.
DC Resistance: 8.0K, Inductance: 2.92H
• Neck: Similar coils with less magnet wire result in a sweeter and clearer tone.
DC Resistance: 4.8K, Inductance:1.24H
• Tone/Characteristic: Very dynamic with tight, clear bass response. Bright and sensitive with less inductance. Similar to single coil tone.
• Likeness/Derived from: Similar to the TV Classic but with more clarity and DeArmond-style tone.
