I read a great deal about this mic and really wanted to try it. Reviewers compared it to the Shure SM 57, saying that it was equal to or better than the SM 57. I’m in the second camp - this mic really outshines the SM 57. I bought one during the Monster Days sale and was totally impressed - shocked. One of the best purchases I ever made!
