Bought this guitar as an affordable upgrade from the Gibson LP Jr. and I love it. The action can easily be set, the intonation is just as quick with there only being two screws to mess with and 3 strap posts for those who like to have options! the only thing I was skeptical about was the wrap around bridge and I do wish it had a tunomatic bridge for more accurate intonation but all things considered it is pretty accurate. It?s nothing anyone would notice in a live situation and I?ve had no complaints as far as playing it in the studio. For the action, the binding along the neck is a big bonus for comfortability and as always it?s as flat and solid feeling as a Gibson should feel. All and all this thing kicks and looks good doing it. no it?s not the same design in the body as ones built pre 2005ish (or when ever) but personally I think the new look gives it a more 335 feel to it and I?m a fan of those guitars as well. my over all opinion about this thing is no it?s not a standard but it?s damn close for about 1500 bucks less. Fine by me.
