I got these for our lead mics for church. Sometimes the sound person just can't seem to get that sound you want and they are far away..... you simply reach down on your mic-stand tray and make your own adjustments until it sound the way you want.
I split the signals to get two inputs. Mic in the left and instrument in the right, then the two outs go to the 100 ft snake.

Pros:
Light weight and compact but offers a lot of features (effects, 48V, compression)
The knobs are also great and easy to use.
Cons:
Sound quality when recording isn't high quality but still gets the job done.
I don't like that the other inputs are stereo.

Brought this to do some line mic mixing for my youtube videos.
Works great, love the fact that I can play around with the tone control. I could enhance the low frequency for my lavalier mics, making it sound professional.
Would have been great if there was a dedicated on/off switch.
The phantom power is great for your mics.
Would recommend it for semi professional work.
