Remove handle end rubber cover. Cut 1 " off of the back end rubber handle, Apply Gooberous amounts of any cheap white/wood glue to 1" exposed dowels at handle end. Replace end cover and let dry for three days. Moving dowels now fixed. Almost as good as the 25.00 Vater / Vic Firth / Regal Tip / Pro Mark. Also use a small amount of white glue to stop the lower rubber brace from moving as well. Move/push down 1", apply small amount of white wood glue, move brace back up into place. Allow 2-3 days to fully dry. Why didn't they apply an extra .0001 cents of white glue back at the plant in China ?
