I am a professional musician and had this pickup professionally installed in a high end acoustic. It had a bit of 'quack' but was overall pretty good, then after about 6 months it started to malfunction. Without warning it would stop working. Push the cable jack in and out a few times and it would eventually come back. I took it to my tech and wrote Fishman after it happened in an important concert where I couldn't get it to work after repeated tries. My tech guy couldn't find anything wrong but there's a sealed compartment in the jack that he'd have to break to get into. I wrote Fishman about this and NEVER HEARD BACK. I've had to discard it and go with another pickup. Over $300 wasted.
