Description
The 45DC, with its modern appearance is actually a product of 30+ years of design experience. Reproducing an extended range cleanly - both higher AND lower - taxes the abilities of conventional pickups. In the 45DC, we have succeeded in getting this extended range by utilizing an ultra low noise, low-impedance internal preamp, paired with ceramic loaded dual parallel coils that result in an extremely versatile unit that can be used for just about anything from the cleanest highs right down to the dirtiest growling lows. I installed this alongside a 45JX and an EMG BTC into my Ibanez SRMS806 and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely phenomenal set of pickups and the combination gives me easy access to any type of bass tone I could possibly want. The solderless installation made installing at home very quick and simple, even though I had to route my pickup cavities slightly to fit them. Absolutely recommend this.
