Chris has been playing violin and piano since 1983 and has been teaching privately since 1995. He holds Royal Conservatory Grade 10 diplomas for both violin and piano. Chris has played with several local orchestras, including Orchestra London and the University of Western Ontario Symphony Orchestra on violin and viola. He held the position of principal second violin with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra and is a member of various worship teams in the area. Chris enjoys recording for different artists, playing for local bands, and has had his violin playing featured on TV.

Damien has been teaching music since 1997.He is an author, composer, arranger, musician and music publisher. He studied at the Conservatoire de Saintes, France, and has graduated from The Music Academy International de Nancy (Partner with Berkley Music College). Damien was an Ibanez guitar instructor in France for 13 years and an entry examiner for the Music Academy International de Nancy. Damien has played with a finalist participant of the French version of The Voice, has toured in Europe, Newfoundland and St Pierre with several pop rock bands, performed in rock operas and wrote and performed for A CBC documentary. Jack Dublanica has a BA in Theory and Music History and has been playing the banjo and fiddle for over 30 years. Jamie Moran has been a performer and educator in various music circles since 2014. A graduate of the MUN School of Music, he has performed with many ensembles including the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and Scruncheons Percussion Ensemble among others. Jamie is also the percussionist for Cabot Power, and performs with other local artists including The Celtic Fiddlers. Besides percussion, Jamie plays many different instruments including guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, bodhran, banjo, drums, and he also sings. Jamie has traveled the province multiple times performing and leading workshops in various capacities. As an educator, Jamie is both a private and substitute music teacher. Jimmy began playing guitar at around 12 years old and has been immersed in music ever since. Growing up in a musical family, he learned by watching and playing alongside relatives, which helped him develop a strong foundation and a deep love for music. Over time, his curiosity and dedication led him to explore a wide range of stringed instruments, expanding both his skills and his musical reach.

A passionate performer, Jimmy is well known in the Hastings and Quinte regions as one half of the popular local duo The Rodgers Boys. He also showcases his talent as the lead guitarist for the rock band Beyond the Call, gaining valuable live performance experience that he brings into his teaching.

Jimmy’s approach to instruction is flexible and student-centered. He tailors each lesson to the individual, regardless of age, level, or musical background. His teaching is not limited to any one genre—instead, he focuses on helping students reach their goals, whether that means understanding complex music theory or simply learning to play their favorite chords.

“Meeting people at their level is my main focus in teaching,” Jimmy says, and that commitment is reflected in every lesson he gives.

Mark discovered guitar at the age of 14. He plays acoustic, electric, lap steel, mandolin, ukulele, bass and bandurria. He has been teaching all ages how to enjoy these instruments for over 30 years. As a young man, he won the Royal Conservatory’s silver medal of Canada in classical guitar. Mark has continued by composing new finger-style works that showcase this training. Mark has always admired artists like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and old masters like Robert Johnson and Son House. That passion led to a nomination for a Covenant award by the Canadian Gospel Music Association for Best Blues Song, 'Waiting For the Resurrection'.
