Manny has been playing live since 1991 and teaching since 1995. He was the winner of the 1997 Blues Guitar Riff-Off at age 19 and was nominated Best Blues Band at the Doheny Blues Society in California in 1999 and the Maple Blues Awards in 2000. He has played many major blues festivals in Ottawa and New York and has shared the stage with blues legends Otis Rush, Kid Ramos (The Fabulous Thunderbirds) and Dan Aykroyd. Manny has played in several different blues and rockabilly bands over the years. He is comfortable teaching students of all levels, especially those that are interested in lead and rhythm guitar. Marco Castillo was born in the capital of Samba, and after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro in 1994, he instantly began touring South America with Brazil’s hottest bands; since moving to Canada, Marco has performed in festivals around the globe, and has recorded and produced many musical projects. Whether it’s his work as a solo artist, his full 8 piece "Brazilian Beats" band, or collaborations with the Winnipeg Jazz and Symphony Orchestras and Ron Paley’s Big Band, Castillo brings a one of a kind show. Castillo’s much appraised Trip to Brazil, (one of his three albums), was awarded World Recording of the Year (2012) in Regina as part of the Western Canadian Music Awards. Marco Castillo was also a finalist for the 2015 Viña del Mar music festival in Chile, one of the most important music festivals in Latin America, which is broadcasted and seen by over 250,000,000 fans around the world. Castillo believes in developing a personalized teaching method for each student since every individual learns differently. Marco specializes in a number of different teaching styles including rock, jazz, pop, country, as well as Latin rhythms such as samba, bossa-nova, bolero, salsa, Afro Cuban and more!

Mark discovered guitar at the age of 14. He plays acoustic, electric, lap steel, mandolin, ukulele, bass and bandurria. He has been teaching all ages how to enjoy these instruments for over 30 years. As a young man, he won the Royal Conservatory’s silver medal of Canada in classical guitar. Mark has continued by composing new finger-style works that showcase this training. Mark has always admired artists like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and old masters like Robert Johnson and Son House. That passion led to a nomination for a Covenant award by the Canadian Gospel Music Association for Best Blues Song, 'Waiting For the Resurrection'.

Born into a musical family, Mathis Fournier began his musical career in earnest independently at the age of 12. During his high school years, he never ceases to surprised his peers, and took part in numerous concerts as a solo guitarist. solo guitarist. He
performed many solos by his favorite guitarists of the moment, such as Jimmy Page, Brian May and Eddie Van Halen. One day, Mathis sets himself the goal of knowing know everything there is to know about the guitar by studying music at CEGEP.
In the fall of 2020, he officially enrolled at Cégep de Sainte-Foy in jazz guitar. two years later in the spring of 2022.
In the fall of 2022, he enrolled at Université Laval in music education, and in his during his first year of study, he discovered a strong interest in music education and guitar teaching guitar.
At the same time as his studies, he joined The Gambling Lines, a group made up mainly of musician and poet friends from his region.
Thanks to his ability to listen and adapt, and a promising start to his career, Mathis will be able to guide you in your learning in a fun and dynamic way.

Matt studied audio engineering at the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology and has been the owner of Longshot Records recording studio since 1997. As recording engineer/producer he has worked with many local and international artists in a wide variety of styles to produce albums, videos, and voice-overs for film. He also appears regularly as a guitarist for a variety of artists, performing at local and international venues. Matt has been teaching both electric and acoustic guitar for over 15 years, specializing in pop, rock, country and folk music.

Matt Martin is a London, Ontario guitar teacher of many stripes; with a diverse background in classical guitar, fingerstyle, flamenco, folk, rock, music theory, songwriting, psychology, education, and music production he dedicates his unique skill set to helping students reach their musical goals and inspire them to go further.
Matt began playing guitar when he was 15 and immediately became a life-long student of effective and efficient learning. Originally inspired by rock guitar virtuosos, he practiced technique endlessly for a year before discovering a new challenge, classical guitar. In less than three years, Matt advanced far enough in classical guitar, music theory, and piano to attend Western University, where he achieved his Bachelor of Music (honors) degree with a minor in psychology. After completing his music degree, Matt continued his training with a Bachelor of Education from UWO, followed by a Music Industry Arts diploma from Fanshawe.
