He studied drums at Grant MacEwan University and has been a passionate student, creator and appreciator of music since age 8. Instructing drums since 2001, Connor has taught 25,000+ lessons and countless rock camps over the course of his storied career. His creative, fun and relaxed approach fuzes the practical with the technical in such a way that students can feel engaged and comfortable to learn at their own pace. Conor is an up-and-coming, enthusiastic member of the Calgary music community. He obtained a diploma in Jazz Music Performance at Mount Royal University in 2014 and continued on to achieve a Bachelor of Music at Ambrose University in 2017. Conor has experience playing a variety of styles of music including jazz, jazz-fusion, rock, pop, blues, funk and Latin. Conor looks forward to meeting and working with students of all skill levels. Cora Cameron is an emerging artist/composer and honours graduate of Memorial University’s musicology program. Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cora is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter with a passion for creative exploration of musical styles and improvisational sound. Cora’s experiences have been eclectic, ranging from a variety of performances with orchestral ensembles as a principal cellist (MUN Chamber Orchestra, HRASO, Maritime Conservatory Orchestra, Maritime Conservatory Baroque Ensemble) to choral singing (MUN Festival Choir), musical theatre productions (TaDa, Neptune YPCO, St. Luke’s Community Players), and sharing original works and jazz arrangements as the vocalist of Orchid Duo. With 10+ years of performance experience, Cora is eager to begin her journey in education and go beyond the books with philosophies she has developed in her own studies. Craig Doll is a professional freelance drummer and educator hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. From about the age of 8, Craig has been completely in love with playing the drums and that love has only deepened with time. With over 20 years experience playing the drums Craig has played many live shows from jazz, pop, rock, country, punk, folk, alternative, funk, and metal. Craig prides himself on always being a student of the drums and to never stop learning or improving. This philosophy has led him to study with the great’s: L.A. based drummer, Dave Elitch and New York based drummer, Carter McLean.

Cristina studied music at the University of Ottawa, and has been teaching piano, acting and movement since 2004 to both children and adults. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. Cristina specializes in creating individually tailored lessons for pianists and performers, and her passion lies in creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment to help students play and sing with ease and confidence. Lessons are available in English, French and Italian, and are $27 per 30 minutes.

Curtis has been teaching since 2008 in a variety of genres including rock, pop, R&B and metal. He has released two solo albums that charted highly on CBC and college radio throughout Canada, and was the musical director for several plays including the University of Alberta's production of Tom Waits' “The Black Rider.” He has performed with many prominent artists such as George Clinton, Parliament/Funkadelic, Cadence Weapon and Bill Bourne. Curtis teaches at our Edmonton Highlands location.

Daisy Tam holds a Master of Arts in Music Theory and a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Music from The University of Western Ontario. In addition, she holds an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Daisy is an RCM certified teacher in Markham for lessons in piano, theory, harmony, and music history and is a member of the RCM College of Examiners as a theory examiner. She has guided students to achieve outstanding examination results and recognitions, including the RCM National Gold Medal for Excellence in Theory. She is also dedicated to mentoring her students and leading them through transformative learning experiences.

Damien has been teaching music since 1997.He is an author, composer, arranger, musician and music publisher. He studied at the Conservatoire de Saintes, France, and has graduated from The Music Academy International de Nancy (Partner with Berkley Music College). Damien was an Ibanez guitar instructor in France for 13 years and an entry examiner for the Music Academy International de Nancy. Damien has played with a finalist participant of the French version of The Voice, has toured in Europe, Newfoundland and St Pierre with several pop rock bands, performed in rock operas and wrote and performed for A CBC documentary. He teaches guitar (classical to metal!), electric bass, ukulele , theory , song writing , and composition; Damien has also published 5 educational music books ! Danika is a young horn player who began her musical journey a few years ago in the intensive music program at Polyvalente Sainte-Thérèse. She instantly fell in love with the French horn, an instrument that is now an important part of her life. She continued her studies in the classical music program at Cégep Saint-Laurent, where she was able to develop her knowledge of music theory, as well as her mastery of her instrument with Jocelyn Veilleux. Throughout her years as a musician, Danika has been involved in many orchestras and organizations. She has been a member of the Orchestre à vents de musiques de films and of Harmonie Omnigamme. Danika wishes to share her passion for this art with others. It is for this reason that she is now teaching music at Long & McQuade!

Dave is a performer and educator of all things musical. He has toured Eastern Canada and parts of the U.S., performed at numerous venues, music festivals, theatre productions, conducted clinics and workshops, and has extensive experience in the recording studio. He spent four years on the music faculty at Mohawk College, and 12 years as a supply teacher for the Waterloo Region District School Board. He has served as an adjudicator for the Arts Education Project grant selection process with the Ontario Arts Council. Dave has been a keynote speaker for ETFO, and conducted motivational clinics in various institutions including a master class at Carleton University. Dave has taught privately for the last thirty-five plus years, is on staff at the Beckett School of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a paraprofessional for the Integrated Arts Program at Eastwood Collegiate in Kitchener. Dave holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto, as well as a Diploma in Applied Music from Mohawk College. He is endorsed by Headhunters Drumsticks. Dave has studied with drummers Bob McLaren, Barry Elmes, Ernie Porthouse, John Cheeseman, and Memo Acevedo.
