Kyle has also performed classical vocal music in recitals, choirs, and competitions. He has traveled professionally throughout Canada as a lead singer and keyboard player. Kyle also plays the saxophone as a community member of the Brock University Wind Ensemble. He began his musical career in his elementary school choir. In high school, he studied both clarinet and saxophone, getting involved in several musical projects. His passion for music led him to perform with several small and large ensembles. He is interested in writing and arranging music, as well as chamber music and symphony orchestra repertoires. As an adult, Marc studied ensemble conducting with trumpeter and conductor André Gauthier. As part of his bachelor's degree in music education, he studied classical clarinet at UQAM with Martin Carpentier, clarinetist with the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal. Marc has long been interested in all wind instruments, and is not afraid of musical challenges. He is the Principal Clarinetist of the Georgian Bay Symphony and has also played as a guest of the New Hamilton Orchestra and the Toronto Philharmonic. Robert has also performed in several of the GBS chamber concert series and performed the Copland Clarinet Concerto with the Georgian Bay Symphony. With over 25 years of teaching experience, multi-instrumentalist Scott is a highly experienced and passionate musician and pedagogue. Starting on guitar at age 12, his passion grew for music as he gained proficiency on brass and woodwind instruments through community bands. After completing a Bachelor of Music at Acadia University, Scott returned to his roots and worked as the music director/conductor and training officer of the Mersey Band where his duties included teaching all new members of the band, regardless of age or skill level. After studying at Western University in London, ON, earning a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance and Pedagogy, Scott worked as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor in southern Ontario for several years before returning to the Maritimes in 2023 to work as the Clarinet Teaching Artist at the Saint John Centre for SistemaNB. Teresa holds her Grade 10 in both flute and piano from The Royal Conservatory of music along with her Bachelor of Music Education from The University of Western Ontario. She is currently working on her ARCT flute. She has also participated in the Rotary Festival of Music with her students as well as performing. Teresa has been a member of the KW Youth Symphony and a founding member of the Oxford Winds.
