Multi-instrumentalist Gage Salnikowski plays over 50 different instruments, and has used his skills as performer, composer, educator, and multidisciplinary artist, to produce and perform a wide variety of material. From experimental orchestral and jazz, to ambient pop, indy rock, funk, and technical metal, Gage has equal experience performing the avant-garde in art galleries and concerts halls as he does touring with local acts.
Notably, Gage's work was recently featured on CBC television, CBC radio, City TV, and CKUW for recording classical symphonies as a one man orchestra, playing every instrument himself.
Gage teaches at our Winnipeg (Pembina) lesson centre.
His rate is $33 per half hour.

Greg Gowan studied music as a saxophonist at Western University, completing the program with Honours in Music Education (BMus 2015). He then acquired a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University in 2017 and became an educator for Thames Valley District School Board in 2018. Aside from the saxophone, Greg also has a deep love for music theory, and has plenty of experience teaching it in a classroom setting. Using a holistic approach, he teaches the necessities of music while also incorporating the needs and interests of each student. Guillaume obtained his professional technique in music and song in violin, in 2018 and has held a bachelor's degree in folk violin since 2023. Under the teachings of Marie-Soleil Bélanger, then Frederic Lambert and Tommy Gauthier, at UQÀM, Guillaume dabbles in all musical styles, moving from classical to blues, from jazz to traditional music, and more. A teacher since 2017 and an active freelance musician since the same year, Guillaume accompanies artists such as Édith Butler, la Famille Soucy, David Jalbert, Francis Degrandpré and Véronique Labbé. Very active on the Quebec scene, and taking part in over 75 shows a year, his passion and dynamic approach are sure to inspire you to take up the instrument.

Ivan attended Vladimir Dordevic Primary School of Music and the Borislav Stankovic Secondary School of Music in his native Belgrade. As a young adult, he moved to Kitchener, Ontario where he continued to study violin under the tutelage of Eduard Minevich, concertmaster of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra. In addition to ongoing musical studies, Ivan completed a Masters of Arts Degree in History from Queen’s University in 2001. Ivan has been teaching at our location since 2009.

Jordan began his cello training at Cambrian College under the guidance of former NBSO conductor Dr. Metro Kozak. He attended the University of Ottawa music program where he studied with National Arts Centre Orchestra principal cellist Amanda Forsyth and NACO cellist Margaret Munro-Tobolowska. He has done numerous performances in Ottawa both in and outside of the University in addition to teaching stringed instruments, including his first instrument, the guitar. He is the North Bay Symphony principal cellist. Jordan’s rate is $28 per ½ hour lesson.

Professor José Jaime Cervantes Madrigal has more than 30 years of experience teaching. He began studying violin at the Conservatorio Nacional in Mexico.

Ever since, Jaime's passion for this instrument led him to take part in many national and international orchestras. This allowed professor Cervantes to expand his professional career, wich granted him the opportunity to play in several places across the world like South America, Europe, United States and Canada. He completed his studies in Montréal where he obtained a bachelor's degree at the University of Montréal and followed later on to acquire a Master's degree in advanced Jazz at Concordia University. This empowered Mr. Cervantes to direct his own original orchestra in Mexico called String pops Orchestra, which was mainly composed of high level and professional musicians.

Laura Nadine is an accomplished music teacher and autism advocate of 24 years based in Toronto, Canada. She is the creator of an innovative music pedagogy that aims to make music available to students with disabilities. Laura has been actively involved in autism advocacy and public speaking since 2007, empowering individuals through films and music she has created. She advocates for Autism Canada as an ASD Advisor and serves on the Advisory Board of Hirsch Academy to develop classroom strategies and inclusive environments that support a "presumed competence" model.
Laura was employed as a Strings Teacher in the American Public Schools for multiple years, where she instructed violin to middle school students. She also taught private lessons through the Gwinnett School of Music to students aged 2.5 years and up via the Suzuki Method. Laura has a broad range of skills in the field of music education, including Suzuki Strings, Orchestral Direction, Music Composition and Arranging, and Film Scoring. She is a skilled violin and viola performer and an expert in Inclusive Classroom Strategies.

Maria began playing music at the age of five and was taken under the wing of her violinist aunt for more than five years. She was the first prize winner at the Festival Jeunes Talents in Saint-Lambert for three consecutive years from 2005 to 2007 as well as recipient of the Certificate of Honor and the Coup de Coeur Diploma. She studied at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal for four years, where she had the opportunity to be a member of the Junior String Orchestra of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. She was notably part of the Orchestre à cordes Junior de la Montérégie (AOJM), the Orchestre Philharmonie jeunesse de Montréal, the Orchestre de chambre du cégep de Saint-Laurent and the Orchestre Symphonique des jeunes de Montréal. In 2019, she obtained her Double DEC in Humanities and Music. She is currently starting her first year of the Master of Music program in Violin Performance at the University of Montreal. Susan enjoys playing a wide range of music, from classical to fiddle to music from movies and video games.
