Erland is an experienced and dedicated musician with a diploma in music from VCC. Erland has been teaching guitar and bass for over 25 years. As well, he runs our rock band program, showing young musicians how to play as a group. He welcomes students of any age and ability.

Étienne Fournier est un guitariste et professeur passionné qui a commencé la guitare à l’âge de 8 ans. Étienne Fournier is a passionate guitarist and teacher who started playing guitar at the age of 8. After pursuing music studies, he earned a Techniques diploma in Jazz Performance from Cégep de St-Laurent, a Bachelor's degree in Music – Artistic Practice from UQÀM, and a DESS in Film Scoring from UQÀM. As an artist, he regularly performs on stage with various bands, both in cover performances and original compositions, and masters a wide range of styles from pop and rock to jazz. Filip Vujanovic is completing his Bachelors of Music in guitar at the University of Calgary under the tutelage of Ralph Maier. Filip’s music career started in high school by singing and playing guitar in several rock bands. With 9 years of teaching experience, he is committed to bring out the best in his students development and enjoyment of music and guitar. He utilizes a comprehensive approach incorporating guitar technique, music theory, harmony and history with a learning style that is intuitive, fun and adapts to the student in a unique way. Filip transfers his passion for guitar by believing strongly in the transforming effect that music can bring to each student. Gabriel Campos a commencé sa formation musicale dès son jeune âge grâce à l’influence de sa famille de musiciens. Il détient une technique professionnelle de musique et de chanson au Cégep de Drummondville et un baccalauréat en composition de musique à l’image à l’Université de Sherbrooke.
Tout au long de sa carrière d’interprète, il a fait partie de plusieurs ensembles en tant que guitariste (classique/électrique), bassiste, et même en tant que percussionniste. Ces groupes lui ont permis de se familiariser avec une grande variété de styles musicaux, en passant par le rock, le reggae, la musique populaire, le blues et beaucoup d’autres. Depuis 4 ans, Gabriel enseigne la guitare classique/électrique, la basse électrique, et le ukulélé.

Gabriel Campos began his musical training at a young age thanks to the influence of his family of musicians. He holds a professional music and singing technique from the Cégep de Drummondville and a Bachelor's degree in music composition with image from the Université de Sherbrooke.
Throughout his career as a performer, he has been a member of several ensembles as a guitarist (classical/electric), bassist, and even as a percussionist. These groups have allowed him to familiarize himself with a wide variety of musical styles, from rock, reggae, popular music, blues and many others. For the past 4 years, Gabriel has been teaching classical/electric guitar, electric bass, and the ukulele.

Guy began his musical life in South Africa age 8. He studied music at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and released his debut solo album in 2009. He appeared in Guitar Player magazine and headlined Evolution Rock’s Masters of Shred. His music has featured in dozens of commercial videos. He is heavily involved in the Calgary music scene and has toured southern Alberta and B.C. Guy has vast experience teaching adults and children, giving more than 7000 lessons over the last 9 years. Jimmy began playing guitar at around 12 years old and has been immersed in music ever since. Growing up in a musical family, he learned by watching and playing alongside relatives, which helped him develop a strong foundation and a deep love for music. Over time, his curiosity and dedication led him to explore a wide range of stringed instruments, expanding both his skills and his musical reach.
A passionate performer, Jimmy is well known in the Hastings and Quinte regions as one half of the popular local duo The Rodgers Boys. He also showcases his talent as the lead guitarist for the rock band Beyond the Call, gaining valuable live performance experience that he brings into his teaching.
Jimmy’s approach to instruction is flexible and student-centered. He tailors each lesson to the individual, regardless of age, level, or musical background. His teaching is not limited to any one genre—instead, he focuses on helping students reach their goals, whether that means understanding complex music theory or simply learning to play their favorite chords.
