Christy Vanden is a guitar, vocal, drum and bass teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, both privately and at the Long and McQuade Lesson Centre in Courtenay. She is a local musician who has played lead guitar and vocals in numerous bands, toured as a solo act and played in the all-female multi-award nominated group, She Could Be Trouble.
She is currently the co-lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Time Well Wasted, and drummer for Oktiv6. Christy has performed multiple times at Filberg Festival, Nautical Days, The Sid Williams Theatre, Sunfest Country Music Fest, and 2024's Vancouver Island Music Fest.

In the 2022 Comox Valley Record's “Readers' Choice Awards”, Christy placed 2nd in the category for “Best Musician” and 3rd for "Best Performer". In 2024, she placed 2nd for "Best Music Teacher" and most recently won 1st place overall in the "Theatre/Performing Arts" category for 2025 and placed 2nd for "Musicians/Singers"! Claude Gagné holds a Bachelor's degree in guitar from Université de Montréal. For 15 years, he was a professional singer and arranger with the vocal group La Bande Magnétik. With this group he has completed 3 albums, 3 video clips and has presented several hundred shows in Quebec and Europe. He is the winner of a Félix in 1994 for arranger of the year. Claude has also self-produced 4 albums with his own songs and has performed several shows, including one at the Studio théâtre de la Place des Arts in 2012. He has over 25 years of experience teaching guitar, bass, ukulele and songwriting.

Claude obtained a Bachelor of Music in Performance in 1986 from University of Moncton on the classical guitar. He has taught guitar with University of Moncton’s music department, at Moncton Music Centre, La Guitare, and Walter’s Music in Mississauga, ON. Claude is well-versed in classical guitar technique and various finger style guitar playing, such as Mark Knopfler, James Taylor, John Mayer, and Keb’ Mo’. He is also confident in pop, blues, and jazz. Cody Zevenbergen is a professional musician with a B.F.A. in Jazz Guitar Performance from York University. He grew up in South Bruce Peninsula where he still resides today. He is an enthusiastic member of Owen Sound's music scene, having performed at local festivals such as Summerfolk, OTHERfolk, and Lupercalia. He has knowledge of a wide variety of musical styles including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country and Blues. Cole received his degree in Performance for Drums & Percussion at Centennial College, and has experience teaching students of all ages through multiple music schools in Barrie. His background spans multiple genres including rock, blues, solo, jazz, R&B, latin, boss nova, samba, salsa, calypso, assorted Indian and African genres, and more. Aside from teaching, he also performs with multiple acts, such as the Led Zeppelin cover band "Moby Dick" as well as his Cream tribute band, "Fresh Cream". Cole's rate is $28 per 30 minute lesson.

Colin studied music at Dalhousie and McGill Universities. In his career as chamber musician and orchestral cellist, Colin has played with L'Orchestre Symphonique de Laval, the Thunder Bay Symphony, the Kingston Symphony as acting principal cellist and soloist, at the Ottawa Valley Chamber Music Festival and 'New Music in New Places', and as guest performer for the Scotia Festival of Music. Colin has recorded for film scores, CBC radio broadcasts, and two CDs produced by New Music North and Gatto Dolce. He was cellist for the critically-acclaimed stage production The Satchmo Suite and is cellist for the duo Gatto Dolce.

Cora Cameron is an emerging artist/composer and honours graduate of Memorial University’s musicology program. Originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Cora is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter with a passion for creative exploration of musical styles and improvisational sound. Cora’s experiences have been eclectic, ranging from a variety of performances with orchestral ensembles as a principal cellist (MUN Chamber Orchestra, HRASO, Maritime Conservatory Orchestra, Maritime Conservatory Baroque Ensemble) to choral singing (MUN Festival Choir), musical theatre productions (TaDa, Neptune YPCO, St. Luke’s Community Players), and sharing original works and jazz arrangements as the vocalist of Orchid Duo. With 10+ years of performance experience, Cora is eager to begin her journey in education and go beyond the books with philosophies she has developed in her own studies. Craig Doll is a professional freelance drummer and educator hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. From about the age of 8, Craig has been completely in love with playing the drums and that love has only deepened with time. With over 20 years experience playing the drums Craig has played many live shows from jazz, pop, rock, country, punk, folk, alternative, funk, and metal. Craig prides himself on always being a student of the drums and to never stop learning or improving. Daisy Tam holds a Master of Arts in Music Theory and a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Music from The University of Western Ontario. In addition, she holds an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Daisy is an RCM certified teacher in Markham for lessons in piano, theory, harmony, and music history and is a member of the RCM College of Examiners as a theory examiner. She has guided students to achieve outstanding examination results and recognitions, including the RCM National Gold Medal for Excellence in Theory. She is also dedicated to mentoring her students and leading them through transformative learning experiences.

Damien has been teaching music since 1997.He is an author, composer, arranger, musician and music publisher. Damien was an Ibanez guitar instructor in France for 13 years and an entry examiner for the Music Academy International de Nancy. Damien has played with a finalist participant of the French version of The Voice, has toured in Europe, Newfoundland and St Pierre with several pop rock bands, performed in rock operas and wrote and performed for A CBC documentary.
