Job Description

  • Complete instrument parts research, ordering, receiving, and supplier follow up
  • Complete a variety of internal reports (including, but not limited to, monthly billing reports, regional projections reports, petty cash reconciliation, etc.)
  • Communicate with staff at other locations about band repair queries
  • Communicate with customers for repair estimates
  • Ship and receive rental instruments to/from store locations
  • Organize and maintain band repair department inventory
  • Clean assigned band repair tooling and equipment
  • Keep workspaces clean and organized
  • Ensure personal compliance with health and safety policies and assist with rectifying broader identified issues
  • Other tasks, as needed

Job Requirements

  • Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument - preference will be given to those who play an instrument(s) in the band and orchestra family
  • Proven strong work ethic and commitment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and steady composure
  • Functional knowledge of spreadsheet software (MS Excel)
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of band instrument part names is an asset
