Amilia Hildahl has been playing the violin since the young age of 3. A well-seasoned performer as well as teacher, she has performed as a soloist throughout North America—most notably at the world famous Carnegie Hall in Manhattan—and as an orchestral ensemble member with the Calgary Youth Orchestra in countries across Europe. Alongside performing, she is also an experienced music teacher who has worked with students of all ages hoping to learn everything from Bach to Irish fiddling. Likewise, while Amilia is classically trained, she is able to work with a wide variety of genres, and is always happy to work with the student to create an individual style of playing. She hopes that her love for the instrument will be passed down to all of her students, who she hopes will share a love for music, and a passion for creativity. Obtained both Bachelor and Master degree in Violin Performance, his main mentors were violinists Etsuko Kimura (TSO Assistant Concertmaster), Lucy Gould (Chamber Orchestra of Europe & Gould Piano Trio), and Itzhak Rashkovsky (pedagogue at Royal College of Music). Amos is an avid chamber musician with tremendous experiences in chamber ensemble, orchestras, as well as solo performances. He has had the privilege to work and collaborate with many internationally world renowned artists both in Canada and the UK. Some of his chamber highlights were in collaboration with Nicola Benedetti, Leonard Elschenbroich, Pieter Wispelwey, and principals of the BBC NOW & WNO.

Anthony is a versatile violin player and teacher who has toured with award-winning singer-songwriter Lennie Gallant and with roots-rock band Pogey. As a member of the neo-traditional trio Papilio, Anthony garnered ECMA and Nova Scotia Music Awards nominations. He is also a member of the popular Halifax band The Gig Dogs and has played with Symphony Nova Scotia, Anne Murray, and Peggy Seeger. As a music student at Dalhousie University, Anthony studied classical violin under Phillippe Djokic. He has won fiddle competitions throughout Canada, including the Maritime Fiddle Championship. In 1990 Anthony came third in the Canadian Open in Ontario, and he was chosen to represent Nova Scotia at the Grand Masters Competition in Ottawa for six consecutive years. He has been an adjudicator at the Kiwanis Festival and has been teaching since 1989.

Raised in the hamlet of Plamondon, Alberta, he has been surrounded by music all his life. Dominic is passionate about music and plays genres including folk, country, rock, metal, soundtrack, classical, and jazz. He is a recent MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Performance.

Dominic is a legacy violinist, mastery of this instrument has been in his family for over 6 generations. His dad inspired a passion for the violin. Dominic has studied with Daniel Gervais for over 10 years, obtaining his level 6 in the Conservatory Canada repertoire and he fiddles too. Dominic has performed at the Jubilee Auditorium next to Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy.

Dominic's French-Canadian roots have encouraged this passion for the instrument and opened opportunities. He is an avid performer with a love for songwriting, and teaching. Dominic is accepting students for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. His lesson rate is $28 per half hour.

Elaine is a RCM certified teacher preparing students of all grades in violin, piano and theory examinations, music competitions and inspiring students in the enjoyment of music.  She is an active member of Ontario College of Teachers where she is licensed to teach students in various school boards across Ontario.  Furthermore, Elaine is a member of Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association and Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations which she is licensed to teach and mentor students, specializing in music, to work and earn a music credit as part of the school program.

Ellen is passionate about Shinichi Suzuki's vision: that every child deserves an arts-rich education and the opportunity to study and play music, and that through the study of music children build noble character, self-esteem, and lifelong enrichment. Gabriela has a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance from the University of Ottawa, where she studied cello with Paul Marleyn, as well as an Orchestral Certificate Diploma under David Currie. Gabriela focuses much of her performing in the classical genre but has also participated in other events such as rock concerts, Video Games Live and recently in the orchestra for “La Machine”.
