Bev has been teaching for more than 25 years in the community and is honoured to be working with the Long and McQuade team. She is certified to Grade 10 with the Toronto Conservatory of Music with qualifications in piano, music history, harmony and theory. Bev has successfully prepared students for practical exams with RCM as well as rudiments of music. She encourages her students to become involved in the Kiwanis Music Festival of London and has coordinated numerous performance recitals. He has played on and produced several Music Nova Scotia and ECMA nominated albums, as well as taking home an ECMA for 2022 Blues Recording of the year for Campbell and Johnston's Black Market Band of which he is one half of. He has appeared on stage with a number of acts such as Nathan Wiley, Blue Rodeo, Sam Roberts, Dutch Mason, Matt Mays, and Jill Barber, received a Juno during his tenure with “Johnny Favourite” and currently he plays regularly with “The Mellotones”, “The Metric System”, “Joe Murphy”, “The Hopping Penguins”, and hosts a long standing weekly blues jam at Bearly’s. Brenda Stettner is a certified elementary and intermediate specialist through the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has been teaching piano, organ, and guitar since 1980. Brenda has experience with MIDI and multi-track recording, she composes and arranges music for herself and her students, and she prepares students for Royal Conservatory examinations and music festivals. Brenda believes in continuous learning and professional development, and is always looking for new ways to teach concepts in private lessons and master classes. Her unique teaching approach has motivated students to become teachers, recording artists, composers, and to generally enjoy making music. Brenda’s students benefit from her lineage, a 3rd generation student of Beethoven. Brenda teaches piano at the Regina store.

Bryan has been playing drums since 1982 and teaching since 1995. He has played everything from jazz to heavy metal. Bryan performs regularly with his Latin jazz trio and is a member of the Brian Eagles Band. He has recorded and performed with many groups, most notably with Juno nominated singer/songwriter Kathleen Edwards. Bryan has studied at the world-renowned Drummers Collective in New York City with a grant awarded from the Ontario Arts Council. He has also studied with Jim Chapin, Kim Plainfield, Magella Cormier and Joel Rosenblatt. Bryan has taught for the Carleton University Bachelor of Music program and is a member of both the Vic Firth Education Team and the Hudson Music Teacher Integration Program. With folk-pop song writing roots, a jazz harmony influence merged into a rock n’ roll edge- Cal Johnson, or formally known as Caleb Johnson is a 2 time Music Nova Scotia award nominated, multi instrumentalist & singer-songwriter. No stranger to the scene, Johnson has had the pleasure of composing for Ondinnok, a theatre project in Montreal (2020), debuting solo live on Global News Halifax (2018) as well as performing with “The Blue Lane” at Halifax's TD Jazz Festival (2016), Bell FibeOP's "Club One New Releases" and CTV’s Breakfast Television (2016). Along with these experiences, Johnson has also obtained a diploma in music arts and has been privileged to attend private songwriting workshops under the instruction of East coast artists such as Matt Anderson, Thom Swift and Christine Campbell.

Today, Johnson is currently based out of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, performing with his new indie blues-rock group “Cal Johnson & The Former Cause.” You can find his debut solo EP “Come and Go” on all digital streaming platforms. Cal's rate is $24 per 1/2 hour private lesson.

Cam Steele is a teacher, performer, and composer in Edmonton. He performs regularly in Edmonton in various contemporary styles from rock, blues, jazz, RnB, funk, and popular music. Cam also plays as a solo guitarist inspired by great fingerstyle players and classical repertoire. Cam values teaching music as a language and creates a space where students start making music within their first lesson. Cam also offers instruction in music technology, electronic production, songwriting, and orchestration. Lessons with Cam are constructed around learning how to really play the music students want to do!
