The 1970s Ampeg B-25 is a vintage, 55-watt tube bass head produced during the Magnavox era, known as a higher-power successor to the B-15, often described as a "mini-SVT". It features two channels with 7027 power tubes and a 2x15 cabinet, delivering classic warm, driven tones favored for studio recording and vintage rock
Power: 55 Watts RMS, often considered quite loud for its rating.
Tubes: Typically 2 x 7027 power tubes, 3 x 12AX7 (ECC83) preamp tubes, and a GZ34 rectifier tube.
Channels: Two channels (Bright and Normal), each with dedicated volume, treble, and bass controls, plus ultra-hi and ultra-lo switches.
Sound: Known for a bright, rich tone with great overdrive potential, similar to an SVT but with less headroom
