Description
Fender and Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt have teamed up once again to present the Mike Dirnt Road Worn Precision Bass. Inspired by the 1951 Precision style, its ash body features a 3-tone Sunburst or White Blonde lacquer finish, perfectly patinated to evoke years of glory on stage.
Among its other distinctive features are a comfortable forearm contour, a vintage-style '59 split-coil single-coil pickup, a side jack, and a custom Mike Dirnt neck plate. The maple neck has a thick "C" profile and a classic '51 Telecaster-style headstock. The maple or rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5-inch radius and features 20 medium jumbo frets with black (maple) or aged white (rosewood) position markers. The bass also comes equipped with a three-ply black pickguard, two knurled chrome control knobs (volume, tone), and special vintage-style '70s tuners.
