The Beltone brand was manufactured by Tesico (Tokyo Electric Instrument and Sound Company) in the 1960's for the Canadian market.
It's obvious Beltone wasn't just making a budget model with these amps. They wanted to prove Japan could put out quality products. High quality parts throughout, including all visible hardware being stainless steel, something you don't see from most manufacturers today.
This amp is around 10 watts and features 4x 6AV6, 2x EL84, and 1x 5Y3 Rectifier. 2x10" speakers. Very clean and neutral tone despite it's low wattage, you're still able to push the volume close to it's max to get a great low gain drive without rattling the panes!
Simple controls with master volume, treble, bass and tremolo circuit. Eye-catching glitter purple tolex!
