For sale is a beautiful 2004 Gibson J-50 acoustic guitar with upgraded LR Baggs Anthem electronics and Grover tuners installed. This guitar has been played and loved the way a great acoustic should be, and it absolutely delivers the tone to prove it.

The J-50 is Gibson’s natural-finish version of the legendary Gibson J-45 platform, featuring the classic slope-shoulder dreadnought body shape, solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

This one is wide open and fully broken in. Loud, warm, balanced, and incredibly responsive. It has that dry vintage Gibson character with strong projection and a huge low end without getting muddy. Fingerstyle, flatpicking, strumming — it handles everything with ease. Simply put, this guitar sounds like a cannon.

Condition is great overall. It shows honest signs of use from being played over the years, but nothing excessive. No issues affecting playability or performance. Frets are in good shape and the guitar plays comfortably up and down the neck.

The original tuners have been upgraded to Grover tuners for improved tuning stability and smooth operation.

The LR Baggs Anthem system is one of the best live acoustic pickup systems available, blending an under-saddle element with an internal microphone for a natural amplified tone. Perfect for stage or studio use.
