The Drum Workshop (DW) "Ten and Six" is a legendary, professional-grade snare drum from the flagship Collector's Series. Featuring a 10-ply maple shell with 6-ply reinforcement rings, it delivers exceptional resonance, a wide tuning range, and DW’s signature warm, punchy tone!
Shell Construction: 100% North American Maple. The 10-ply shell creates a strong fundamental pitch, while the 6-ply reinforcing hoops maximize shell integrity and resonance.
Hardware: DW Collector's Series standard, typically including True-Pitch tuning rods for precision, the incredibly smooth MAG throw-off, and a multi-position butt plate.
Sound Profile: Highly versatile. It produces a fat, warm tone suitable for the studio, combined with the volume and cut required for live stages.
