A truly unique relic from post-war Gibson. Vintage banjo serial dating has far less resources than Gibson's vintage guitars, however multiple sources we referenced suggest this banjo was built in either 1951 or 1954! The finish has been broken in in all the right places some play wear and minor finish checking, note some minor scuffs on the headstock. Tenor model tuned CGDA. Banjo has been given a once over, all hardware and components (including drumhead!) all seem original, just needed a restring after trading in.
