Ibanez - Roadster RB885 w/ Road Case

"The RB885 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1985. It was produced in Japan.

The RB885 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of J65 low impedance pickup's, an Special bridge with 15mm string spacing, a graphite nut and Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines.

For 1986 the pickup's was changed to LO-B5 the hardware was change to black. For the Japanese market the body came with an arched top.
