The F Bass pickups take the classic Jazz Bass single-coil sound to a new level. Plus, to eliminate the nuisance of 60-cycle hum often associated with single-coils, simply engage hum-cancelling mode by pulling up on the bridge volume knob.
Handmade Preamp
Our preamps are meticulously handcrafted using discrete components rather than over-engineered IC chips, resulting in a more open and transparent sound that allows the true character of the instrument to shine without any coloration. The 3-band preamp offers control over Bass Boost, Mid Boost, and Treble Boost, allowing you to sculpt your sound to perfection. When set flat at 0, there's no discernible difference from your passive tone, making it a versatile tool for exploring various tones and gigging environments. The low battery draw of the 9V preamp provides approximately 500 hours of playtime, and if your battery runs out mid-gig, simply engage passive mode by popping up the tone control.
