Gibson - 1973 SG I (Modified) - Walnut w/ Non-Original Case
Gibson made the SG I, II, and III from 1972-1974. These were a double pointed cutaway design with bevelled edges, mahogany body, triangular wing-shaped pickguard, dot inlays, and semi-circular control plate. Originally they were made with plastic covered mini humbucking pickups, however this one has been modified with two DiMarzio humbuckers. (Information from Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars pg. 138)
The case that came with this guitar is not the original Gibson case, though it is a molded SG case.
