Fender has found a way to deliver classic "Fender" tones and high-gain distortion, all in the same amp. The Super Sonic Series is designed for serious players desiring modern high-gain tones AND industry-standard Fender clean tones without having to resort to carrying multiple amps to the gig. The series is built around a 60-watt all-tube amp, available in combo or head format. The VINTAGE channel has two selectable voices based on the original circuits of highly desirable Fender amps (sparkly-toned 1965 Vibrolux, thick-toned 1966 Bassman). The DRIVE channel has a super-cool dual-knob cascading-gain preamp for more creamy sustain and compression than any previous Fender amp. The cabinets are available in 2x12 and 4x12 forms and match the head.
