Your eyes are not deceiving you. We had Taylor Guitars do a very small run of one of our favorite Taylor guitars in one of our best selling Custom finishes. They absolutely knocked this one out of the park with its Deep Purple Sparkle Gloss finish over the Sitka spruce top and upgraded Gold parts.

More compact than the original T5, the T5z also features a 12 inch fretboard radius and jumbo frets, which both help with string bends. Like the T5, the T5z is equipped with a three-pickup configuration of an acoustic body sensor, a concealed neck humbucker, and a visible bridge humbucker, plus five-way switching and onboard tone controls, giving players an incredibly versatile electric/acoustic guitar. This T5z delivers an extra splash of acoustic-friendly tonal properties thanks to its Sitka spruce top. Taylor’s T5z is the only guitar that uses all-magnetic pickups for both its electric and acoustic tones. That means real acoustic tones, real electric tones, and everything in between.
