Based on the scale and design of the beloved 62 models, the YSS82 series is made of a special brass alloy with gives the horn a lighter, more balanced feel. Sitting among the highest end of Yamaha saxophones, this 82z delivers an even feel and sound across all ranges of with the horn while maintaining a desireable tonal flexibility.

This horn also features a hand engraved one piece unlacquered body that is topped by a curved neck. The curved neck allows for greater comfort and posture while using the horn.
