Miyazawa 'PA-301RH' Professional PCM Flute

Description

The Miyazawa PH-301 is a hand-made professional level flute suited for a player of any skill level and age. The body and foot joint of this instrument are constructed of Miyazawas 'PCM' alloy, made mostly of silver (65%) and other precious and semi-precious metals like copper and palladium.

The creation of this alloy was driven by a desire to create a material with greater density than nickel that is harder than silver. The resulting alloy produces a tonal range that is full of colour with response that is quicker than traditional sterling silver.

Miyazawas brilliance in taking this innovative metal alloy and shaping it into this flute has created an instrument to be desired by all walks of flute players. This flute has greater durability than a silver flute, meaning it is safer in the hands of a young beginner, while any player the experience of a pro-model flute.

This flute comes in its original case. The only signs of use are a small mark on the backside of the instrument (shown above) and micro-scratches throughout that come from years of love from a previous owner.
