The cello is handmade from resonant wood. The spruce wood for the top comes from the Austrian Alps and Slovakia. The backboard, neck and sides are made of flamed maple wood. Maple was harvested in the former Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The fingerboard and the entire structure of the instrument are made of South American or Indian ebony. The bridge is of the French type, of the highest quality.
