Description
“Unplugged” can now be as simple as it was meant to be. Give your acoustic a natural warmth and presence, as if you were miking it through a tube pre-amp. Sweepable, semi-parametric EQ controls remove unwanted feedback and our tube/microphone emulation circuitry eliminates the harsh unnatural harmonics of piezos. The instrument level 1/4” input has a very high impedance of 4.7megOhm to provide maximum output and dynamics. Other features include an effect loop and active tone controls with 12dB of cut or boost.
Phantom power operable, or utilizes an optional 9V DC power supply (Tech 21 Model # DC2), or 9V battery (not included).

THE CONTROLS
BASS, MID and TREBLE – active EQ controls, cut or boost +/- 12dB.
MID SHIFT is a parametric EQ control which allows you to select the center frequency of the Mid control. Its sweep ranges from 170 Hz to 3.0 kHz. This, then, enables you to notch out any specific frequencies that may be causing your instrument to feed back.
BLEND allows you to mix the direct instrument signal with SansAmp Tube/Microphone Emulation circuitry.
LEVEL regulates the XLR and 1/4″ output levels.
For studio and live applications, SansAmp Acoustic DI is engineered with 2 outputs: a balanced low Z XLR that is switchable between 0 and -20dB, and an unbalanced low Z 1/4″. In bypass (inactive), SansAmp Acoustic DI functions as a standard active transparent direct box.
