Description

Thanks to its multi-scale design, the SRMS805 delivers an open, lively sound and optimal playing comfort. Its ergonomic construction adapts to the angle of the hand as it moves across the neck, promoting fast and fluid playing. On the 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck, the rigid, musical hardwoods are arranged closely together for a slim neck and lasting harmony, while the wenge fingerboard offers precise response. Adjusting the neck end is easy and saves time when loosening strings.

The gloss finish, with its beautiful patterns, scrolls, and darker areas, is crafted from poplar burl on the soundboard and the new bridge. The mahogany body delivers a warm sound and rich resonance.

The new MR5S monorail bridge, securely attached to the body, allows for wider intonation adjustment and maximum vibration transfer without interference. The MR5S is equipped with adjustable string spacing saddles, to meet the requirements of bassists wishing to find the ideal setting for different playing styles. Simply loosen the screws to adjust the saddles by +/- 1.5 mm.

The 3-position midrange selector switch (250 Hz, 450 Hz, and 700 Hz) provides precise tonal control. When the EQ bypass is engaged, the treble control functions as a passive control over the instrument's output tone. The Bartolini® BH2 humbucker pickups, with a lower resonant frequency, deliver a balanced and warm response, with tighter lows and fuller mids.
