Description
The new 2008 S Prestige is the guitar that, in the future, all metal-minded axes will be judged against. This Japan-made Ultimate S could be the sign of great things to come. The S Prestige features 24 frets of slippery 5-piece Prestige Wizard neck and jumbo frets, S Prestige's new ZR2 bridge, S Prestige's revolutionary ZPS3 spring system. Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint, which provides greater tuning stability. This unique system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center point (or zero point). In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point System features two additional springs which insures the bridges return to the center point. The Zero Point system adjustment can be quickly set by handtheres no need for a hex wrench. The ZR tremolo uses a ball-bearing based system for precision and friction-free smooth action.
