This guitar has been modified from its original version.
It still has the super comfortable 9.5" radius roasted maple neck... But that's about it.
It now sports a sleek black pickguard as well as a set of chrome Schaller knobs.
The biggest change, however, is in the electronics.
In the neck position, it's got a Fender Fat '50s single coil.
In the middle: a pickup salvaged from the a Fender Japan MG-65 Mustang for a cool, low-output vintage sound.
And in the bridge, a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 Single-Coil Strat Pickup.
Plus, when you flick the five way switch over to the bridge or bridge-middle position, the mini-toggle next to the volume knob will activate the neck pickup. This makes for some unusual pickup combinations.
Yes. It's pretty much a David Gilmour Strat.
