Description

**** THE SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN ENGRAVED ON THE MICROPHONE ****

Whether streaming, podcasting, or recording, the SM7B captures smooth, warm vocals that connect the speaker to the listener.

The SM7B dynamic microphone offers a smooth, flat, and extended frequency response that preserves the natural beauty of the captured sound. Its classic cardioid pickup pattern is designed to eliminate off-axis sounds. So you can sing or speak comfortably, and the microphone picks up sound exactly as you intended, with minimal coloration.

In addition to its standard windshield, it also includes the A7WS windshield for close-talk applications.

The SM7B is an exceptional choice for the following applications:
* Instrumental and vocal recording studio
* Location recording
* Podcasts and interviews
* Film and television music
* Television, talk shows and editorial staff
* Radio announcement and production
* Narration

Features
* Flat and wide frequency response for exceptionally clean and natural reproduction of music and speech
* Bass roll-off and midrange boost (presence boost) controls with graphic display of response setting
* Improved electromagnetic hum rejection, optimized for shielding against broadband interference emitted by computer monitors
* Internal "air suspension" shock isolation virtually eliminates mechanical noise transmission
* Highly effective pop filter eliminates the need for any additional protection against explosive breath noise, even for close vocals or narration
* Includes a removable A7WS windscreen, designed to reduce boomy sounds and provide a warmer tone for close vocals
* Classic cardioid polar pattern, uniform with frequency and symmetrical about the axis, to provide maximum rejection and minimal coloration of off-axis sound
* Also useful for close miking of instruments in the studio where warm, smooth full frequencies are essential
* Robust construction and excellent cartridge protection for exceptional reliability
