Description
This telecaster is Made in the USA in 1988, in great shape. Includes the original Fender molded plastic hard case.
No major chips dings or scratches, you can see the body seams through the paint (not visible in photos)
Normally the E3 serial would indicate 1983, however this is definitely not an 83 model. They would have been gloss necks with a different body carve and much different hardware all over. The 80s was definitely not a time of what we'd call the highest quality control, (and in fact Mar 25 of 88 was a Friday, so likely the case for this was it was the last day of the busy work week), the Fender worker doing the serial number stamping probably mistook the 8 for a 3 when making the decal.
