The Audio-Technica AT8532 is a power module designed to provide power to certain Audio-Technica condenser microphones, particularly those with TA3F connectors, such as the ATM35, ATM350, and Pro35.
It can operate using either a 9V battery or 48V phantom power from a mixer or audio interface. The module includes a low-frequency roll-off switch and outputs a standard XLRM-type connector.
Power Source:
The AT8532 can be powered by either a 9V battery or via phantom power from a mixing console or audio interface.
Compatibility:
It's designed for use with Audio-Technica microphones that use TA3F connectors, including the ATM35, ATM350, and Pro35.
Low-Frequency Roll-off:
The module has a switch to engage a low-frequency roll-off, which can help reduce unwanted low-frequency noise like rumble or handling noise.
