While the Ash offers great sustain and pronounced midrange, the Mahogany produces a warm, soft, and fat bass sound that sits under the Ash body. Also the model features a beautifully bound Ebony fretboard that provides quick response and percussive overtones.

Additionally the guitar mounts the DiMarzioR Fusion Edge pickups that were the result of a direct collaboration between DiMarzio and Ibanez.
