Description

The Cannonball S5-BR Stone Series Soprano Saxophone stays true to the classic American horn sound. It delivers a big sound with strong and direct projection that packs a punch throughout the instruments entire dynamic range.

The Stone Series saxophones all come equipped with the renowned Cannonball Big Bell. The one-piece hand-hammered bell is designed to offer a greater depth of sound and greater colour in the lower partials, the increased size of the bell also naturally leads to a larger, warmer sound.

They also come included with 2 necks, one straight and one curved, giving the player the option for the best fit ergonomically. These necks are precisely adjusted by Cannonballs technicians for optimum performance on each individual saxophone.

Cannonball puts extra effort into making their horns look as striking as they sound. With semi-precious stones adorning the key-touches also having positive effects on how the horn sounds. This S5 soprano is finished in a beautiful aged-brass patina ("Brute") which not only gives it a unique look, but due to the unlacquered nature of this finish the brass will continue to patina as it is played, meaning the horn will develop a truly one of a kind finish. Finally, the bell is hand-engraved by Cannonballs craftspeople, giving a final personal emphasis to the horns beautiful silhouette.
