Description

The Bach Stradivarius has been the gold standard for professional trumpets for 100 years since the first generation debued in 1925. Over time it has cemented itself as the dominant model of trumpet in all corners of the trumpet world, whether it be jazz, commercial, or western classical music.

Having been made for a century, the 180-37 has gone through some changes since its inception. The vintage 'strads' are some of the most desired trumpets around today. This particular horn comes from 1975, soon after the production of these instruments moved to Elkhart, Indiana, and just before Vincent Bachs death in 1976.

The condition of this instrument after 50 years of use is testament to the quality of its construction. The #37 bell equipped to this instrument is the most popular of all Bachs available bells, serving as a good all rounder with good intonation and projection while producing a lovely palette of colours. the #25 leadpipe is likewise the most standard option from Bach. It offers slight resistance that is effective in centering tone production.
