CAP EXF-N2 Pickups
The arched construction of the EXF-N2 pickup exemplifies Ibanez common-sense innovation. The arched design sets each string at equal distance to the pickup, resulting in balanced volume output. In terms of sonic character, these humbuckers are often described as "punchy." High quality shielding eliminates unwanted noise.

EQB-IIID 3-band EQ
The EQB-IIID is an improvement on the concept of simple EQ control. Notice above that boost and cut of Mid Control are each centered on a slightly different frequencies, an innovation that delivers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.
35" Scale Neck

The BTB's extra-long 35-inch neck scale offers tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. It also provides superior articulation, making it perfect for both 5 and 6-strings.

Deep Cutaway
The BTB's much deeper cutaways allow effortless access to the upper frets.

Mono-Rail Bridge
The Mono-Rail bridge delivers the ultimate in string-to-string isolation, meaning that each string vibrates optimally without be affected by the others. BTB's string spacing is 19mm for 5-strings, and 17mm for 6-strings, offering more freedom on the fretboard, and comfortable access for finger picking and slapping.
