Chosen by artists such as the Everly Brothers, Cat Stevens, Dwight Yoakam, and Billy Joe Armstrong, the J-180 stands out as a more compact version of the powerful SJ-200. This Gibson-inspired J-180 LS is the result of a brilliant collaboration between Epiphone and the luthiers at Gibson's Custom Shop.

This premium model features a thermally aged solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing, solid mahogany back and sides, and a one-piece mahogany neck topped with a laurel pickguard inlaid with graduated mother-of-pearl stars. The compensated nut, bridge pins, and bridge are made of bone, while the iconic "open book" headstock features the Epiphone logo and J-180 star motif inlaid with mother-of-pearl. An "Inspired by Gibson Custom Double Diamond" emblem is engraved on the back of the headstock, and an LR Baggs VTC pickup and preamp system under the nut ensures optimal performance in the studio or on stage. A hardshell case is also included.
