Attic Sale FAQ

What is the Attic Sale?
The Attic Sale is a yearly sale held every September in 5 of our locations. It is always highly anticipated by our customers as it is known for having great deals. As this sale always draws a huge crowd, we felt that this year might not be the right time to hold such an event. We didn’t want to disappoint our customers who come every year and love the sale, so this year we decided to try an all online version, and include all of our stores.
 

How does it work?

This is an online sale!

Each store will publish a list of items, starting September 11th , that will be on sale and available to purchase starting September 18th. This initial list won’t display prices. The prices will be shown during the sale at one of the following times. The item listing will include when it is available for purchase, at which time the price will be presented.

Friday September 18, 10 am and 2 pm
Saturday September 19, 10 am and 2 pm

Once an item is selected, you will be taken directly to our checkout where you have 5 minutes to complete the deposit  process.  A deposit of 20% is required to hold the product.  If you want to buy multiple items, you will need to check out multiple times.


Can I finance the item?
Yes, financing arrangements are available at the selected location.


How will I get my item?
Once you complete the transaction online, one of our staff will contact you to schedule a convenient time to pick the item up. We are controlling the flow of customers so that we can limit their contact with others.


Can I buy an item from a store and have it shipped to me?
No, any items purchased must be picked up at the store by the purchaser.


Why can’t an item be shipped to me?
In the spirit of the original sale, we want to give the customers of the local store the first opportunity to purchase the items.


What kind of payments are accepted?
Online we can accept credit cards and e-transfers.


What if I don’t have a credit card or bank account?
If you don’t have access to a credit card or etransfer, then you can purchase a gift card in store, in advance of the sale. It you don’t get the item you are interested in, we can refund the gift card to you.


Is there any warranty on the items listed?
Yes, all of our regular policies apply to the items in the sale.


Can I buy the item in the store?
No, all items must be purchased online. No items are on display or available for purchase at the store.


Can I see the item before I purchase it?
Pictures and a description are on the site.  Items are not available for viewing at the store.  Once the deposit has been paid,  we will contact you to schedule a time for you to complete the transaction.  At this time you can view the  product.  If after you see the item it is not up to expectation, we can offer a refund of the deposit.
