Maria graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Victoria in 2006. Maria is the assistant principal cellist in the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, stepping in as principal when necessary. She also performs at weddings and social functions in and around Calgary. She was a cellist in the Raven Baroque ensemble in Victoria, and now plays with various ensembles in Calgary including; Uptown Strings, Bridgeland Quartet, Fretless Femmes duo, and Key30 Orchestra. In the summer of 2021 she played with the Listesso String Quartet performing Candlelight Concerts around the city. She has also performed in the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, the Kamloops Symphony, and the Calgary Civic Symphony Orchestra. Maria has been offering lessons in Calgary at L&M since 2015. Her rate is $32 per half hour.
