Ian has been playing and making music for nearly his entire life. He received his bachelor's degree in music from MacEwan University in 2022 and is deeply interested in learning from and teaching all musical styles. He approaches teaching music from a student-first perspective, striking a balance between theoretical concepts and technical skills while allowing the student’s goals and interests to direct the trajectory of their learning. In other words, expect an instructor that adapts to you -- any style or genre, from video game soundtracks to crazy jazz chords.

Ian teaches guitar, ukulele, and bass. He is active in the recording and production space and is always willing to take on students interested in digital audio, recording, and production, to DAW-assisted composition and beat-making.
Ian teaches at the Edmonton South Location.
His rate is $29 per half hour.
