Aaron Brazeau is a versatile musician based in Vancouver who has been teaching Guitar, Piano and Voice lessons since 2016. Aaron completed his BMus in 2020 at VCC, where he studied guitar under Daryl Jahnke, piano under Sharon Minimoto, and voice in ensembles under Paula Kramer and Gerald Van Wyck. Larry started playing guitar when he was 10 years old. He earned a music theory certificate from Trinity College of Music, London. He began touring at 17 and has been playing professionally ever since. He played bass with Canada’s legendary rock band Trooper for 6 years, earning gold and platinum records. He plays guitar, bass, and mandolin, and continues to perform in a variety of bands including classic rock, jazz, country and bluegrass. Larry has been teaching since 1992. His goal in teaching is to instill the necessary skills to inspire a lifelong love of music. Larry caters to teenagers and adult students. His rate is $29 per half hour.

He is fluent in most styles of music but his passion and area of expertise is fingerstyle guitar. Notably Mike has played solo guitar for 12 years at the Hilton then on to La Belle Auberge. He is an active performer and recording artist and continues to perform both as a soloist and with the guitar/flute duo "Silverwood". He teaches ages 7 and up at all ability levels. Shortly after picking up his kid sister’s abandoned guitar at the age of 13, Paul began concentrating on drums. By 15, he was already teaching in a marching band, as well as at Berger Music in Richmond, England. Shortly after graduating high school, Paul became a full-time touring drummer, a career he pursued until he acquired the Milestone Percussion (now known as Tempus Drums) business in 1985. Between ‘85 and ‘13 he custom built almost 7500 unique drums; these days he’s more musically active than ever, teaching, writing, recording and performing music, as well as through his activities as a music advocate, music therapist and special needs EA with the North Vancouver school district. Susana can also teach beginner guitar,ideal for the singer/ songwriter student. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music at Vancouver Community College. Susana has also developed educational content for Musora Media Inc. As a performer, she has appeared at international festivals, including the Vancouver and Manila Jazz Festivals, bringing a diverse, global perspective to her music teaching. ROCK CAMP

Rock camp is designed for students who want to take their playing and performing to the next level and learn to play rock songs together as a band. Students must have a minimum of 1 year of lessons or novice playing ability and should be comfortable playing basic chords and rhythms. Students will have the opportunity to perform on the last day of camp. Open to ages 10 to 17.

Sundays from 12pm to 1pm
