Aaron Brazeau is a versatile musician based in Vancouver who has been teaching Guitar, Piano and Voice lessons since 2016. Aaron completed his BMus in 2020 at VCC, where he studied guitar under Daryl Jahnke, piano under Sharon Minimoto, and voice in ensembles under Paula Kramer and Gerald Van Wyck. Aaron enjoys teaching and playing many different styles such as Pop, Rock, Jazz and more! Aaron's rate is $30 per half hour.

Alex is classically trained as a guitarist and holds a Diploma in Music from KPU. He is passionate about music and enjoys all genres from classical to heavy metal. He also plays in bands and jam groups. He teaches classic, acoustic, and electric guitar, electric bass and ukulele. Whether you are a beginner, want to upgrade your chops for your band or solo act, learn theory and technique, or play around the campfire, Alex will be happy to teach you the skills you need. He can’t wait to help you start living out your musical dream! His rate is $29 per half hour.

Chris has been playing guitar and performing in bands throughout Vancouver and the lower mainland since 1998. Currently teaching at several Long & McQuade lesson Centres, he has been guiding budding and advanced guitar players for over a decade. Chris specializes in rock, pop and heavy metal, and teaches composition on the guitar. He is also the facilitator for the Rock Skool program, uniting youth to create music together. His rate is $30 per half hour.

David Danylchuk has over 30 years of experience playing music, including a Diploma in Jazz Studies from St. Francis Xavier University, and years playing in various original music projects as well as being a sought-after live session musician. Dave’s most recent live project is performing as Tom Petty in the acclaimed tribute band Perfectly Petty, and has graced stages including Peachfest, The Blue Frog, The Mary Winspear Theatre, The Rio Theatre, and many more. Dave is an accomplished guitarist, bass player, drummer, keyboard player and vocalist, with a passion for music and for teaching, and for assisting others in achieving their musical aspirations. His rate is $30 per half hour.

An active member of many unique local bands, he has experience both locally and abroad. Eric has his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Capilano University. He has a passion for a great variety of music; jazz, pop, funk, blues, rock, and even metal. He is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with a desire to inspire and encourage students to enjoy playing music. His rate is $30 per half hour lesson.

Jacob is a singer and guitarist, composer and sound engineer. His current band Quickness keeps him busy, and he also does shows as a solo looping artist and owns a recording studio. He has a long list of sound engineering customers including Snoop Dogg and Carly Rae Jepsen. Jacob offers something new to the lesson Centre, with recording, looping and beatboxing in his toolbox of skills. Jacob takes students 6 years old and up and all ability levels. His rate is $30 per half hour.

Larry started playing guitar when he was 10 years old. He earned a music theory certificate from Trinity College of Music, London. He began touring at 17 and has been playing professionally ever since. He played bass with Canada’s legendary rock band Trooper for 6 years, earning gold and platinum records. He plays guitar, bass, and mandolin, and continues to perform in a variety of bands including classic rock, jazz, country and bluegrass. Larry has been teaching since 1992. His goal in teaching is to instill the necessary skills to inspire a lifelong love of music. Larry caters to teenagers and adult students. His rate is $29 per half hour.

Mike has played guitar from age 13 and has been a performer, arranger, and teacher for over 50 years. He has written 2 music books and created 2 video courses. He is fluent in most styles of music but his passion and area of expertise is fingerstyle guitar. Notably Mike has played solo guitar for 12 years at the Hilton then on to La Belle Auberge. He is an active performer and recording artist and continues to perform both as a soloist and with the guitar/flute duo "Silverwood". He teaches ages 7 and up at all ability levels. Mike's rate is $32 per half hour.

Paul Mason (Batterie, Guitare)

Shortly after picking up his kid sister’s abandoned guitar at the age of 13, Paul began concentrating on drums. By 15, he was already teaching in a marching band, as well as at Berger Music in Richmond, England. Shortly after graduating high school, Paul became a full-time touring drummer, a career he pursued until he acquired the Milestone Percussion (now known as Tempus Drums) business in 1985. Between ‘85 and ‘13 he custom built almost 7500 unique drums; these days he’s more musically active than ever, teaching, writing, recording and performing music, as well as through his activities as a music advocate, music therapist and special needs EA with the North Vancouver school district. His rate is $30 per half hour.

Rich Woodward (Piano, Guitare, Basse électrique, Ukulélé)

Rich has a Bachelor of Music (Composition) degree from University Of Toronto and an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. He is also an accomplished guitarist, bassist, and vocalist, with over 15 years of experience onstage and in the studio. He plays a wide range of music including rock, pop, blues, folk, reggae, and electronic. His classical training combined with his years of stage and studio experience allow him to provide a balanced approach to music lessons and can prepare students interested in RCM. He addresses each student's needs individually with emphasis on ear training, improvisation, and fun. Rich's rate is $31 per half hour.

Susana Williams has over 20 years of experience teaching music to children, teens, and adults, specializing in voice coaching and songwriting. She is adept at many styles including pop, rock, latin, contemporary and more. She studied at the Juan Jose Landaeta Conservatory and The Roland Learning Centre in Venezuela and received the Jazz Studies Capilano Program Award. Susana can also teach beginner guitar,ideal for the singer/ songwriter student. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music at Vancouver Community College. Susana has also developed educational content for Musora Media Inc. As a performer, she has appeared at international festivals, including the Vancouver and Manila Jazz Festivals, bringing a diverse, global perspective to her music teaching. Susana’s rate is $30 per half hour lesson.
