Arya Shahrostambeik began his musical journey at 7 years old when his parents enrolled him in a music theory ‎class. He was taught using Orff's ‎approach and chose to study the piano. After high school, he decided to share his love of music with others and began teaching piano and music theory as a volunteer which led him to start teaching piano privately. Arya has also worked as a session musician and played with several bands in many styles including traditional, folk, pop, rock and jazz. He has a strong passion for music and enjoys sharing that with his students. Arya's rate for a half hour private lesson is $25.

Chris Mercer has over two decades of teaching all ages, musicals styles and skill levels. He teaches acoustic/electric guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, and popular piano at the Fredericton Lesson Centre. Whether an absolute beginner, intermediate or even advanced level musician looking to expand or improve your skillset, Chris is more than capable of helping you reach your musical goals. Choose from an individually customized lesson strategy, follow a method book or both. Whatever you decide, you are sure to benefit from one on one lessons with him. Chris's rate for a half hour private lesson is $26.

Jeremiah Charlton (Guitare, Mandoline, Ukulélé, Banjo, Basse électrique, Piano)

Jeremiah Charlton has been teaching professionally for over 20 years, and loves to impart his passion for music of all styles. A multi-instrumentalist, he offers lessons in guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and banjo at our lessons centre in Fredericton. Jeremiah brings a wealth of musical knowledge gained from his work in many professional settings; commercial studio recordings, playing with casino bands, cruise ships, and orchestras for touring musicals. He is also well versed in many music styles such as jazz, blues and rock. Jeremiah's rate for a half hour private lesson is $27.

Jim Campbell (Saxophone, Piano, Harmonica)

Jim Campbell is a multi-instrumentalist with a 50-year musical background. He enjoys classical, blues, jazz, rock, and just about everything else. Jim played sax and piano in numerous cover bands in Ontario and has also filled in on guitar, harmonica and vocals. Alto/tenor saxophone, popular piano, and harmonica are Jim’s main focus in the Fredericton lesson centre. Lessons are tailored to each student’s objectives, current abilities and musical tastes. Backing tracks are used as a teaching tool, and Jim regularly jams with students so they can experience the fun of playing together and improvising in a comfortable, supportive learning environment. Jim is comfortable teaching in English and French. His rate for a half-hour private lesson is $27.

Nathaniel Sergeant (Piano, Théorie)

Nathaniel Sergeant has played piano for over 20 years, completing his Grade 10 Royal Conservatory exam in 2010. For the past 6 years, he has taught piano privately and offered choral/instrumental accompaniment and event music including weddings and regular recitals at retirement communities in his hometown of Fredericton. Nathaniel firmly believes that music is a journey unique to every individual and in his lessons he encourages his students to express themselves through music by learning in a way that is creative and has special meaning to them. Nathaniel's rate for a half hour private lesson is $26.

Sébastien Renault (Piano, Théorie, Trompette, Chant)

Sébastian Renault a commencé son aventure musicale à l’âge de 5 ans, quand il a commencé ses leçons de piano à Long & McQuade. Après avoir complété le niveau 10 du Conservatoire royal de musique, il a continué ses études à l’Université de Moncton, où il a découvert un grand intérêt pour la théorie musicale ainsi que pour la composition. Sébastien offre des leçons en français ou en anglais, et peut accommoder une grande variété d’aptitudes et d’objectifs. Il est enthousiaste de partager le plaisir de la musique avec tous ceux qui souhaitent s'avancer! Le taux de Sébastien est de 24$ pour une leçon privée d'une demi-heure.
