Welcome L&M Moncton's Lesson Centre! We have two locations: one at the L&M Moncton store on 245 Carson Drive, and one at the Dieppe Arts & Culture Centre on 331 rue Acadie, in Dieppe. We have 20 well equipped lesson studios between the two locations. If you have ever aspired to learn a musical instrument or you want to improve your skills and knowledge, this is the place for you! elisa soucaille (dieppe) (Voice)

Elisa Soucaille has been in the Arts since the age of 3, starting with African dance, then moving into the theatre, to finally choose singing at the age of 7. From the age of 7, she was a chorister in the La Lauzeta children’s choir in Toulouse, where she spent 6 years singing in church, various concert halls, etc. In 2013, she was part of la maîtrise du chœur d’enfants at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse. She was therefore a chorister in great operas such as Carmen, Cavalliera Rusticana, Pagliacci, Turandot, etc. In 2019, she moved to Canada to continue her studies at Université de Moncton, under the direction of Lisa Roy. She then had the chance to play the role of Blanche in the operetta Les mousquetaires au couvent by Varney. Currently, Elisa is in her 3rd year of opera singing. Her rate is $23 per half hour lesson.
geoffrey cormier (Voice)

Geoffrey received his Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan College in Ontario and has been involved in many kinds of vocal performing over the last 16 years. He has an understanding of voice theory and techniques that he is eager to share with his students, and is ready to help them unlock their vocal potential! While his musical background is Musical Theatre, he is comfortable to teach Rock, Folk, and Pop pieces, as well as any genre he can wrap his voice around. Geoffrey is looking forward to meeting new students and helping them find their voice in this wide world of music. His rate is $23 per half hour private session.
ghislain aucoin (dieppe & moncton) (Piano, Voice)

Born in Bathurst, Ghislain is an award-winning pianist, singer, arranger and composer with years of experience teaching Classical and Contemporary styles to his piano and voice students. Since earning his degree from Humber College, Ghislain has been active in the Toronto music scene as a recurring member of Queer Songbook Orchestra and was invited to record piano and voice on their 2017 release Anthems & Icons at the Banff Centre. He is now persuing a second degree in Piano Performance from Université de Moncton. Throughout his time as an accompanist, he has had the pleasure playing piano alongside renound singers, such as: Lorna Lofte; Lorraine Segato; Beverly Glen Copeland, Carol Pope; Judith Lander; Nancy White and Alex Samaras. The joy of music making and singing is at the core of Ghislain’s teaching in order to meet each student at their individual level to build new skills or refine the basics. Hi rate is $25 per half hour private lesson.
halliday ogilvie (Piano, Voice)

Halliday Ogilvie is originally from Wolfville, NS. She earned her music degree from Mount Allison University, specializing in voice. She started her musical journey at a very young age and started getting involved in the Annapolis Valley Honour Choir in grade 6. Halliday grew up singing, and playing clarinet and piano, and was involved in music festivals and musicals throughout middle school and high school. Halliday loves a variety of music genres, such as classical, country, pop, and musical theatre. Her rate is $24 per half-hour lesson.
marin mcbeath (Piano, Voice, Guitar)

Marin (she/her/they) is passionate about sharing the joys and wonders of music. Her main instrument is voice, but she too has a secondary education on the piano and guitar. She is keen to aid students as they navigate these three instruments. She's comfortable with many genres, including blues, jazz, pop, classical, country, rock and more. As your teacher, Marin hopes to inspire you to build confidence in yourself by tapping into the beautiful tools music education has to offer. Her rate is $23 per half-hour private lesson.
melanie caissie (Piano, Voice)

Mélanie Caissie is a voice and piano teacher and performer with over 20 years in the industry. She received her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at the University of Toronto and has her grade 9 RCM in piano. Mélanie has worked as a classical soloist for churches in Toronto and enjoyed being a freelance performing and recording vocalist in a variety of engagements. She has prepared many students in voice and piano for recitals, festival competitions, university auditions and professional gigs. She has a passion in sharing her love of music with her students. She teaches well-rounded lessons by incorporating performance technique, ear training, theory, improvisation, and musical games for the little ones. She teaches young artists how to maintain a healthy voice. Mélanie is comfortable teaching in French and English from 4-year-olds to adults. Her rate is $24 per half hour.
Our Group Lessons:
Join our summer Rock Camp! Students gain skill in rhythm and lead guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals. Rock Camp 2024 will be from 10am-3pm, Monday-Friday, from July 15 - July 26. The final performance will be July 26 at 6:30pm at the Dieppe Arts & Culture Centre. This camp is for students ages 9 and up. Inquire with the lessons staff at [email protected] or 506-857-1987.
Long & McQuade Moncton’s weekly music and movement class for toddlers! This class introduces music concepts using a structured play-based approach. Students will interact with music through listening, dancing, and playing instruments to develop basic musical skills. This class is for children ages 2-5 years old. The class will be on Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am, and starts on April 17 until May 29.
